Ghost in the mountains. ( Training, Goon, open to Shikyo)

Goon was bored, he was suppose to be going over everyone's medical records, or at least what he had on them. But he had been over them countless times, and they were sort of out of date. He could recite them all, like it was nothing, it also didn't help that some of the members had left and didn't return. He wrote a note to himself to hold a physical exam at a later date to update the medical records. Goon didn't realize how late it was, and needed to go outside for some air, anyways. The only people around were a few guards patrolling the halls, and the insomniacs.

Outside was nice the air was cool, with a slight breeze, and the sky was lit up. It seemed like a perfect night for a walk to clear his head. He walked for awhile around the mountain, that is until he heard a bunch of little grunts. He wondered who it was, could it have been a random, or one of the members. Thoughts ran through his head, so he did what he did best, sneak up on the person. As he walked quietly up he saw little Hoshimi, punching the mountain chipping it little by little. For someone so small and young, she was doing more than most kids her age. Goon smiled watching her from a few meters away, he was reminded of when he was that age and felt he needed to get stronger, that's part of the reason he became the man that he is.

But seeing her hurt herself was not the right way to do it, she doing more damage to herself than she was gaining strength. He felt it was time to interrupt her little session, "Hey! Does anyone know you're out here?" his word probably startled her and they rang through the mountains. "And what in the blue blazes are you doing?"

Goon knew he had scared her, and what didn't really surprise him is that she was ready to attack. Which to him was a good thing, because even though they were close to home, that didn't mean that it was always going to be one of the family, popping up. Watching he saw that she hurt his wrist, good thing he had always kept bandages on him, he'd use mystical but he didn't have enough chakra at the time to sustain it, so for the time being he had to resort to the old way of healing. The little girl looked scared, good thing Goon was bored, he had nothing to do. He figured he'd help her out with her training.

"Here let me see that wrist," he said, whether she gave it to him or not he'd still grab it and begin wrapping it up. "So you wanna get stronger. hmmm. I think I can help you with that. Goon said, if he remembered correctly this was close to one of the spots, he trained at when he first got here, only thing is, that it's up the mountain. Those without the proper training and skill, wouldn't be able to make it up, it usually leads to quick for this is one of the steepest parts of the mountain as well. But if someone where to make it up far enough close to the tip they'd make it a flat area that's secluded and perfect for training. Only a few members ever try, for failing to make it could lead to serious injury, or possibly death. The wrapping was finished and was time to get the training started.

"But first you gotta make your way up the mountain, seems like nothing right. NOPE! it's actually very dangerous, and only a few ever make the trip, and complete it. That's the stipulation for me helping you out. Now do you agree you'll figure out where to stop at I'll meet you up there, if you truly wanna get stronger." With that said Goon made his journey up he didn't go completely up to the area to keep an eye Hoshimi, last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt, or for Kuro to get pissed at him. So he stayed far off to the side as he made his way, where he couldn't seen, but he himself could see everything clearly. He wondered if the little girl would actually make the journey up it, it is pretty long, close to the peak.

Goon had to give it to the girl, she was really trying, and she definitely had the heart. She made it further than most first timers, and definitely further than most of the members ever did. Goon had to admire her chakra control, and the fact that she only used it when she really needed to, such as a chance to fall. He was watching her every move, when he went up, he his off to the side, and waited for him to pass her, she wouldn't truly be able to see him. When Hoshimi passed him, he slowly followed behind her, so in case anything were to happen to cause her to fall to her death, or serious injury. That and the fact that Kuro, A: probably let not let him hear the end, or B: Kill him, taking a life for a life, especially of someone so young, and that he personally took care of.

Goon suspicions rang true, as Hoshimi was near completion, when exhaustion seemed to set in. She didn't pace herself, the only good thing is that she wouldn't develop the bends, because the clan itself was used to the high altitude. As she began to fall Goon would race up, taking three huge hops and catch her before she really started to fall. Making him carry her the final steps to the flat zone, and set her down so she could eventually wake up, and to let her body adjust to the altitude.

After about twenty minutes to a half hour, Goon would grab smelling salts from his pocket and wave it under her nose. Making her regain consciousness, "Well I got some good news and some bad, the Good news is that you passed the test, the bad news is..." Goon would take a dramatic pause only to mess with her. "Nothing." Goon chuckled, "Had you scared for a moment there, didn't I?"

Goon knew the feelings that the girl was expressing to him, a good percentage of the Shikyos knew even Goon did, still does every now and again. But he liked facts and complaining and self-pity was not gonna help her, maybe she didn't realize it, maybe she did. Goon had no way of knowing her inner thinking only what she expressed whether it was word or body language. After hearing Hoshimi speak and stare into his eyes, doe-like, he was gonna have to get stern. "Now stop with all that melancholy talk, and think." he paused, so he could take a breathe before spitting out what he was about to say.

"You are NOT the only person to ever feel like that, trust me you aren't, you have a whole group of people who have at one point most likely felt the same. Now you made your mission to get stronger, no matter the cost, you made it to the area, I wanted you to go, you touched it and just because you passed out from exhaustion doesn't make you weak it means your human. And even if you were weak no one here gives two shits about that, all we care about is you not your strength and weaknesses, we care about the person. you are and what it is you do to help, whether its little or in a huge way, your fine, so whether you believe you deserve to train or not its going to happen. Because nothing else matter other than what you want, self pity get you nowheres, but death." He said, maybe he was a little harsh, maybe he wasn't, but that didn't matter, what mattered was the words he spoke were the truth.

While he was speaking though he was tapping his foot, not out of impatience, or anger, orbegun annoyance, it was to prepare the earth, for the tai that was gonna be coming, shortly. One of the benefits of being a Shikyo, to him was the ability to control an element, with barely any chakra, it was used in conjunction with taijutsu. Goon was blessed with earth, it made up for his lack of jutsu, and chakra for the time being, which wasn't so bad, but he studied medical techniques anyways, he had to get more chakra somehow. When Hoshimi, spoke in reply to what he just said, he would slightly interrupt her, "Oh yeah by the way the training has begun, you better come at me with all you got. This first time is just an assessment." He said it with a smile, and to change the mood.

Goon took three hops back propelling him self back with his right foot as it touched the ground. With his style of manipulation, it could be used effectively from a distance as well as up close. With each hop he summoned up a piece of earth(75s), the size of a fist, kicking them with his left foot as he went backwards, he made sure to make it softer than usual, all the blocks of earth had a softer density(25). The first block would head towards her left shoulder, the second the right shoulder, and the last was kicked randomly towards her abdomen, the kicks all were slow at half Goon's speed, the earth he made move slowly, at a speed were Hoshimi could see them, and react to the them. "Think fast! Never been a real good teacher. Usually I just go with the flow. I always felt like you could learn better, through experiences." He chuckled.
