PostSubject: Hisado's Hardware   Mon Aug 25, 2014 10:21 am

Hisado's Hardware comes from a numerous number of different shinobi development teams that specialize not only in electronics but their application in combat as well as to Androids. With that said, such companies include: DroidTech, ChakraTel, and HTS (High-Tech Shinobi) Inc. The first company, DroidTech, specializes in producing the many systems and inner working parts of most Androids in the shinobi world. They specialize in the production of parts that 'substitute' a lack of a human system. For example, they produce skeletal structures, chakra systems, Android e-brains, and more. The second company, ChakraTel, specializes in chakra-powered additions to the Android body. They produce combination of melee and projectile weapons both controlled by the user's chakra system, as well as body enhancements that are activated by channeling chakra into them. In contrast to this, HTS Inc produces additions to the Android body that do not require chakra to activate or utilize. On the contrary, they are powered by hydraulics, electricity, and numerous other forces rather than relying on the user's chakra system.

Name: eSkeleton Mu Series Mark 1
Rank: A
Density: 2
Hardness: 150
Forces: Has no stand-alone force.
Type: Android Part
Requirements: Must be an Android.
Description: Developed by the DroidTech company, the eSkeleton Mu Mark 1 is the first model of the Mu line of skeletal structures developed by the company. It was primarily developed as a means to negate magnetic forces and fields, however, the way it was designed it also offers moderate protection the inner structures of the Android from physical attacks as well. This model, like all models in the Mu series, is composed almost entirely of MuMetal. Mu-metal is a nickel-iron alloy, composed of approximately 77% nickel, 16% iron, 5% copper and 2% chromium or molybdenum, that is notable for its high magnetic permeability. The high permeability makes mu-metal useful for shielding against static or low-frequency magnetic fields. The saturation point is the flux density at which the material can not contain any more magnetic flux. Steel saturates around 22,000 Gauss, while MuMetal saturates at about 8,000 Gauss. With that said, the prototype was widely dissatisfying when tested against more powerful magnet waves. Which led to the implementation of a thin sheet of steel on the inside of the skeleton. This thin sheet of steel allows for a back-up defense against magnetic waves and fields, should the MuMetal become overwhelmed.

The primary purpose of the skeleton lies in the skull, however, as it is intended to protect the sensitive electronic devices contained within the Android's skull. It does this by rerouting the route of magnetic fields and waves to flow around the skull rather than through it, thus protecting what it needs to from magnetic threats. The skeletal structure throughout the rest of the body is primarily for defensive purposes, though also offers an interesting form of defense against magnetic attacks on the metal Android. Should the Android become suspended by magnetic forces or become pulled or pushed, or any variant, by magnetic forces, they are able to channel 50 chakra through their skeletal structure to negate and nullify the magnetic waves and regain proper control of their body and its contents for one post. This must be repeated for each post that the user wishes to withstand magnet fields and waves.
Drawbacks: The total cost of chakra to resist magnetic waves altogether becomes quite tolling on the user after a while. The additional weight caused by the skeletal structure results in a constant penalty of 15 to the user's speed stat.

Name: Chakra System A Series Mark 2
Rank: A
Density: 3
Hardness: 350
Forces: Has no stand-alone force.
Type: Android Part
Requirements: Must be an Android.
Description: The Chakra System System A Series Mark 2 is a chakra system developed for Android shinobi in order to allow them to utilize Ninjutsu just like your ordinary shinobi and to provide power to the rest of the Android itself. The Mark 2 is a large improvement on the Mark 1 of the same series. The Mark 2 increases both the chakra capacity of the android as well as the general durability of the system. Unlike the Mark 1 which grants an 800 chakra stat, the Mark 2 grants a chakra stat of 1000 total. This not only increases the chakra capacity of the Android but, should their other systems rely on their charka system, increases their other attributes such as speed and strength. The Chakra system itself consists of several 'nodes' throughout the Android's body as well as paths leading from node to node. Upon replacing or upgrading one's chakra system with/to the Mark 2, their eBrain automatically installs the necessary drivers to properly utilize the nodes and pathways for maximum efficiency. Each node is able to emit chakra and channel chakra into a multitude of parts of the Android's body for a variety of uses and techniques. In the user's core, i.e. their stomach, is their chakra vessel that holds all of their chakra not currently circulating. It is, in essence, their chakra pool. Should this pool become penetrated or heavily damaged, it will cause the Android to lose 100 stats in their chakra attribute per post that it remained in critical condition. However, should it become repaired they will regain 100 stats in their chakra attribute per three posts after the repairs are complete until it reaches 1000 once more. Should the chakra pool be completely destroyed, rather than simply penetrated or damaged, the user will become completely unable to utilize chakra and thus their chakra stat will be reduced to 0 until repairs are made, also taking a hit to their speed and strength stat due to both relying on their chakra stat.
Drawbacks: The user's chakra pool is highly susceptible to damage and if damaged can prove highly inhibiting to the Android.

Name: Chakra Nodes S Series Mark 1
Rank: S
Density: 2
Hardness: 150
Forces: Has no stand-alone force.
Type: Android Part
Requirements: Must be an Android.
Description: The S Series Charka Nodes are a standalone version of the chakra nodes used in the S Series Chakra System. They were created for those who wanted certain capabilities granted by the S Series Chakra System but could not afford to purchase the entirety of it. This version of the nodes is compatible with A Series Chakra Systems online. B and C Series are completely incompatible and can not handle the application of these nodes. However, should the Android possess an A-Series Chakra System they may simply replace the nodes and they will integrate themselves with the rest of the Android's chakra system, should it be compatible. These nodes, lacking the capabilities of a full blown chakra pool, are nothing more than improvements to the parts of the system that leak chakra into the body of the Android and control the chakra flow of the body. Due to this, they are relatively cheaper than buying a new Chakra System altogether.

The purpose of these chakra nodes, rather than increasing the chakra pool of the Android, is to increase the complexity of the chakra system as well as grant improved chakra flow. The first and most profound improvement the nodes bring about is an increase in chakra distribution to the ligaments and over-all body of the Android, increasing their strength and speed more efficiently than the A-Series Chakra Systems, increasing both boosts by approximately 25%. With that said, if your strength and speed are currently increased by 40 due to your A-Series Chakra System, they will now be increased by 50, due to 25% of 40 being 10 and adding that on to the initial 40. Regarding the increased complexity of the chakra network, the nodes become able to transmit chakra wirelessly from node to node and to and from the chakra pool. This means that should a chakra node be destroyed between the hand and the rest of the chakra system, they are able to bypass that and still transmit chakra to that node. Furthermore, chakra paths are no longer necessary for chakra transmission.
Drawbacks: Should, for example, all nodes present in the Android's left arm be destroyed they will be completely unable to channel chakra through their left arm, or even form handseals with their left arm for that matter. Should they be capable of utilizing one handed handseals, their right arm's nodes are also able to be destroyed, disallowing them the ability to use any handseals.
Upgrade from A Series: 400,000 ryo total
Repair Cost: 20,000 ryo each

Name: Sky Drive M1
Rank: C
Density: 1
Hardness: 50
Forces: Has no stand-alone force.
Type: Android Accessory
Requirements: Must be an Android.
Description: Developed by HTS Inc, the Sky Drive M1 was developed as a 'cloud' for Androids, allowing them to connect to it remotely from up to 500 meters away. Once connected, they are able to upload their consciousness and memories to the drive, performing a full backup of their brain and its contents. The uses for this range from being able to transmit knowledge and information to a third party over long distances to simply keeping a backup of their brain in case their current brain becomes damaged beyond repair. For example, if the latter occurs and they have a backup saved to their Sky Drive, the Sky Drive can be plugged into the brain of a new body and her consciousness can be uploaded to it. The brain that her consciousness is being uploaded to MUST be blank, however, meaning that this Sky Drive can not be used to "hijack" another Android's body with her consciousness.
Drawbacks: The Sky Drive is extremely fragile and is easily destroyed and the contents are easily scrambled. For that reason, it is often kept in an extremely safe place with an extremely safe person, the Android performing daily back-ups at the end of each day rather than consistent back-ups. The range is a bit limiting, giving it little use other than a daily back-up method.

You do understand the increase to stats is not the full 200 but a bit more accordingly. You understand the perk etc.

Chakra nodes make it so that the increase is 25% of what it would normally be like you said. So if you gain 200, the boost should be +50 more. etc. You know the drill.

Those "Upgrades" get a DISCOUNT of 1/4 their price.
