Description: The Earthen Katanas are two dual katanas with a diverse number of special abilities. The first is the fact that they are constructed of highly compressed and compact Earth, special rocks that have been stress tested and sharpened for optimal efficiency in combat. They are able to be manipulated freely by a skilled enough Doton user who has mastered Doton manipulation. This can include extending the blade or even widening or repairing the blade. By paying 50 chakra that post, they are able to manipulate their blade freely to do such things. To do this in a second post, requires another chakra payment. The most interesting part about these katanas is the bond it can form with the user. It is said that two twin Earthen spirits reside within each katana, disallowing the blade to cut their wielder by dulling the blade the instant it comes into contact with their skin or body. Going back to the manipulation of the weapons, they can only be extended for up to ten meters in length. (Their base length is 2 meters each.) and can be widened up to five inches in width. Furthermore, as long as at least 1/4 of the blade remains, it can be regenerated in that same post. Should there not be at least 1/4 of the blade left over, it will take two posts of concentration, making it nearly impossible to repair mid-combat.
Drawbacks: They are not very durable, at least not nearly as durable, when not charged with chakra, due to their Earthen material.
